Slowdive at The Kentish Town Forum

Another mesmerizing and powerful performance by a band having the time of their life. They sound even better than this summer. It's hard to describe the power of the wall of sound unleashed at the end of When The Sun Hits or the ever haunting Golden Hair.

Pukkelpop: Slowdive

A year ago, I would have never thought that such a moment would be remotely possible and yet it happened. Slowdive sounds better than ever. I cannot wait for a follow up tour in smaller venues, hopefully after the release of new material. Unforgettable show.

Silence Is Sexy: Christina Vantzou

Interesting universe. A bit bummed by some of these beautiful constructions ending in such an abrupt, anticlimactic way.

Silence is Sexy: Hauschka

Playful and yet serious prepared piano. Some very impressive analog sound design.

Monument Valley

Mesmerizing escher-esque puzzle game. Absolutely gorgeous.

Threes

As addictive as you may have heard.

Limbo

Mentally draining but fantastically eerie and gloomy. An exercise in frustration.

Shadowrun Returns

Deliciously cyberpunk, despite the fantasy crap. Far from being bug-free though.

●●●◦◦

Clumsy Ninja

The cuteness factor and the ever-impressive physics engine largely make up for a repetitive gameplay and regular IAP nagging

●●●●◦

F-Sim Space Shuttle

A subtle balance between the zen-like experience of gliding and the adrenalin of a realistic landing

iPad mini with retina display

Such a major leap forward in performance and responsiveness. An amazing, truly magical device to which I'm already addicted.

Astoria, OR

Gorgeous, friendly and peaceful. Added to my list of places to retire
